Stafford Gatehouse Theatre will be giving away a pair of free tickets to this year’s rock ‘n’ roll panto every week between November 16 and January 10.
To win tickets, all you have to do is check the theatre’s blog on www.staffordgatehouse.blogspot.co.uk and guess where the main character of this year’s Jack and the Beanstalk panto is hiding, using the clue given. Share your answer by leaving a comment on the blog. Every week, a winner will be chosen at random from the correct answers.
This year, Stafford Gatehouse Theatre’s beloved rock ‘n’ roll panto transforms the fairytale of Jack and the Beanstalk into an entertaining and contemporary performance suitable for all ages. Classic rock ‘n’ roll hits will be performed by the talented cast of actor musicians. The panto runs from December 11, 2015, to January 10, 2016.
“After the success of last year’s competition, Stafford Gatehouse Theatre wants to bring back the festive fun once again by giving people of all ages the chance to win tickets,”
explained Emma Hogan, press and marketing officer at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre.
“The competition is open to people of all ages and musical preferences. However, you must know Stafford well enough to recognise the landmarks from Jack’s clues.”
Once again, Stafford Gatehouse Theatre will welcome back internationally renowned director, Paulette Randall, who was recently awarded an MBE for her services to Drama and also worked alongside Danny Boyle as an associate director for the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. This year, Randall promises more surprises, excitement and rock ’n’ roll than ever.
The first winners of the Where’s Jack competition will be announced on Friday, November 20, at 12pm, via the theatre blog. Each Friday until December 18, a new winner will be chosen from the pool of correct answers received during the week. The following Monday, a new picture will be posted and blog readers will have a chance to try their luck once more.
Winners should provide an email address in the comments section when they are chosen and they will be contacted by the theatre with details on how to claim their prize.
