Following the launch of its new Boat House venue, Stone’s Aston Marina is kicking off 2016 by bringing a host of new job opportunities to the local area.

The marina currently employs around 40 people and is seeking friendly and dynamic individuals to work as chefs or in a front of house capacity in the family-run business. Available positions include Restaurant Manager; Assistant Manager; Bistro Assistant Manager; Front of House Supervisor and Chef de Partie, alongside several opportunities for waiting on and bar staff.

Director at Aston Marina, Helen Webb, believes the recruitment drive will be mutually beneficial to the business and the local economy:

“These are exciting times for Aston Marina. We’ve had a great response following the launch of our new Boat House wedding & events venue, and our Bistro and Farm Shop are getting busier all the time. We’ve always prided ourselves on our impeccable standard of service and are seeking to maintain this as the business continues to grow. The available posts represent a fantastic opportunity for individuals to be a part of our exciting future.

“In terms of who we’re looking for, people who love the ‘buzz’ of a busy, customer-facing environment, who always maintain a high quality of service, and who enjoy working as part of a team will tick major boxes, whilst a friendly, smiley, happy outlook is essential. Any previous experience working in a busy restaurant or gastro pub would also be beneficial.”
