A Stone based company, which supplies quality contract furniture to the leisure industry, has increased the size of its fleet of vehicles to help meet growing demand.

Pure CF (part of Cottage Furniture Ltd), based on the Whitebridge Estate, has experienced exceptional growth over the past five years during which time it has seen its workforce more than double in number.

The two new HGV trucks, delivered in the first week of February, follow closely behind the six purchased in 2015 and take Pure CF’s commercial fleet to a total of 14 vehicles.

According to Paul Gill, Managing Director, the investment in the vehicles is in response to the firm’s continued growth, which is a result of the Company’s strategy and the leisure industry’s strong post-recession recovery with hotels, restaurants and bars thriving once again.

He said:

“We operate nationwide and as far away as the USA and the Middle East with an ever expanding client base, particularly in regard to the restaurant market which is growing at a tremendous rate. In fact, demand for our products has never been stronger.”

Pure CF’s customers include a number of well-known restaurant chains including Harvester, Café Rouge, Bella Italia, Wagamama, Pizza Express and Jamie’s Italian.

Mr Gill added:

“Our fleet of vehicles has increased in line with the growth of the Company and will help to make us more efficient and keep costs to a minimum.”

The HGV trucks, supplied in Pure CF’s green and black livery, are provided and maintained by a major Staffordshire firm, Motiva Group.
