Stone British Championship racer Jamie Edwards #87 has formally announced that he has agreed to race for the 125 Grand Prix team ‘NYKOS Racing’ for a second season.

Jamie will be competing in the 2016 years Hel Motostar British Championship which is run alongside the British Superbike series at venues across the UK and one at the world famous Assen TT circuit in Holland.

Jamie along with the NYKOS team is currently very busy with this year’s preparations before they commence pre-season testing in Spain early March. The season then revs into action at Silverstone the weekend of 8th – 10th April.

After stepping on the British Championship podium for the first time last year his championship hunt was unfortunately ended prematurely due to sustaining a broken hand following a fall at Assen.

Jamie is once again aiming for good results throughout the year with backing from local company Wells Plastics Ltd. Wells Plastics Ltd. have taken the opportunity to invest in Jamie’s racing career by providing him some much needed financial support which hopefully will help him achieve the seasons expectations. Other sponsors include Kabuto helmets, Mercury Hearing and a number of loyal personal sponsors.

The team is currently short of their budget by for the year by 50% so Jamie is currently seeking further financial and/or product support from local firms and dedicated followers.

The team can offer various packages in return to suit a wide range of clientele no matter how big or small your investment, including giving business exposure on the motorcycle, team clothing and with the rounds shown live on Eurosport the potential reach is in excess of 50,000 spectators each weekend. The team can also organise for weekend passes and or full hospitality days at British Superbike rounds with plenty of other options available on request.
