Time is running out to bag bargain ‘early bird’ tickets for the event billed as ‘Staffordshire’s blues, rock and folk event for everyone’. With a line-up featuring a host of fantastic acts, including original performers and leading tribute bands, the Middle of Nowhere Music Festival takes place at Penkridge’s Lower Drayton Farm over the weekend of Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th July.
There are some great savings available on ‘early bird’ ticket purchases up until Monday, 30th May – weekend camping tickets are just £40 (instead of £60) and a limited number of day tickets are also available at just £15 for Friday, £25 for Saturday and £10 for Sunday.
In terms of the lineup, Friday’s acts include Stone singer-songwriter Ben Owen, eclectic four-piece Herbaceous Borders, family folk-pop act Waiting for Susan, renowned ska band The Superskas and Birmingham guitarist Steve Ajao with his Blues Giants band.
Saturday’s headliners are coming all the way from the US of A – former Lynyrd Skynyrd member Mike Estes and his American Deep South rockers Skinny Molly will share the bill with Police tribute act The Secret Police, eclectic foursome the Funkbreakers, Scottish all-girl rockers The Amorettes, ACDC tribute Hells Bells, local band Pelo, exciting newcomer Zak Christie, country rock-come-blues singer-songwriter Cherry Lee Mewis and rockers Walkway.
