Launch Music International Meeting Day – July 4th
at The Crown Hotel, 38 High St, Stone ST15 8AS July 4th
Launch Music International, are a Stone based one-stop-shop solution for record labels and recording artists, offering a full services, including post production, manufacturing, distribution, sales, marketing and PR – specialising in classical, jazz and world.
Founded in 2009, against the backdrop of a rapidly shrinking physical music market we’ve grown over the last 7 years in to one of the UK’s leading independent physical and digital distributors with almost 50 record labels in our global portfolio (inc UK) and another 40 for ‘export only’.
The majority of our distributed labels are owned by artists, composers, producers and ‘husband and wife’ teams – small family owned businesses looking to find a route to worldwide markets. We are also a small family business – run by myself and my wife.
As a group we are infinitely larger that the sum of our parts — as a group we offer a substantial turnover to distributors and retail who buy from us. Our labels include multi award winning albums, BBC Music Magazine and Gramophone Albums of the Year, BBC Radio 3 awards, Classics FM awards, critic’s choices and a host of other awards around the world.
On July 4th this year label owners from across our group will come together for the first time. We will be meeting to discuss all areas of sales and marketing, press and promotions – best practice – maximization of sales when time, money, resources and opportunity is limited. The day will consist of a series of presentations, instigating some lively debate — we have invited a stellar line up of speakers from the music industry and outside.
