A new fitness craze is coming to Staffordshire with the launch of trampoline exercise classes at Flip Out Trampoline Park in Stone.
‘Flip Fit’ is a fun, mixed ability circuits style trampoline class that combines cardio, resistance training and core stability – aiming to increase the body’s flexibility and balance by incorporating trampolining with functional training.
The Flip Fit sessions start on Wednesday 29 June between 7pm and 8pm and continue every Monday and Wednesday evening from 7pm to 8pm.
Flip Out Stoke manager Robyn Carpenter will deliver the new Fit Flip classes. She explains:
“Flip Fit classes are a really fun way to boost energy, lose weight, strengthen and tone. Trampoline exercise is three times more effective than running because it uses so many muscle groups and still works your cardiovascular.”
She adds: “The classes are really unique and cater for people aged 15 and over. For fitness enthusiasts there is the chance to work at a really high energy level, burning around 1,000 calories in a one hour session. However for those looking to exercise at a steadier pace, the circuits allow you to work at your own comfort and ability level while using the trampoline to improve your core strength, cardiovascular fitness and balance.”
