Moth Night Friday 1st July – 9pm til late
At Southern Meadows Local Nature Reserve, Stone
This will be a great opportunity to learn about moths and see a good variety of them. We have a moth expert on hand to identify all the moths and to tell us more about these fascinating insects.
This is a new event for Stone, as part of the Council’s work to improve meadow habitats in the town. Increasing the amount of native wildflowers in the reserve should lead to a greater diversity of moths and other wildlife.
The event is free and open to all but children must be accompanied by an adult. Access to the reserve is located on the corner of Valley Road and Redwood Avenue, Stone. It would be advisable to wear warm clothes and to bring a torch if you have one.
