People and businesses across Stone to benefit from Vodafone’s improvements to both its 3G and 4G networks Vodafone UK has started to roll out its 4G in Stone this week whilst also making improvements to its 3G network.

The arrival of Vodafone 4G in Stone means all customers with compatible devices and bundles will be able to connect to the internet more quickly, more reliably and in more places than ever before. 4G services will also help businesses improve productivity by enabling employees to work where they want to, when they want to.

Vodafone’s 4G network and generous data allowances now mean that customers in Stone can enjoy more of what they love, faster than ever before through Vodafone’s leading entertainment partnerships*. They can download, upload or stream to their heart’s content with a choice of music, sport and TV, whether at home or on the go.

Vodafone has now extended its 4G coverage to 848 larger cities, towns and districts as well as thousands of smaller communities across the UK. Vodafone plans to provide coverage using 2G, 3G or 4G services to 98% of the UK population.

Vodafone has invested more than £2 billion in its UK network and services since 2014 and expect to invest another £2 billion in them over the next three years. Other network improvements across the UK recently have included the nationwide provision of HD (High Definition) Voice technology on its 3G network and the introduction of its WiFi Calling service.

The Vodafone Rural Open Sure Signal programme is also aiming to bring 3G coverage for the first time to 100 remote communities across the UK.
