Walton Residents Action Group are holding a public meeting at 7.30 pm on June 27th at Walton Community Centre to in advance of the Public Inquiry into David Wilson Homes’ planning application to build 114 houses at Walton Heath.

The Inquiry is the outcome of DWH appealing Stafford Borough Council’s rejection of this application last year. WRAG also opposes the scheme.

The planning application documents, which can be viewed online at http://www.staffordbc.gov.uk/planning-public-access under the reference 15/21873/FUL, show the estate’s proposed access via Marlborough Rd and Pirehill Rd.

The enquiry at the Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford will last from July 12th – 15th.

“A good turnout by residents opposed to this application will help reinforce our case,”

said WRAG spokesperson Jim Hanvey.
