Stone business Angies Catering celebrated their 20th anniversary on Friday 5th August at Langtrys pub.
Angie had laid one of her delicious buffets for all those in attendance, though sadly I had to leave before tucking in!
Angie Davis and her mum Anne set up a sandwich shop in Pirehill Lane, Walton in 1996 called Bloomers (named after the bread not the pants!) It was a very quiet location with little passing trade so when the rent increased in 2001 Angie relocated to the Frank Jordan Centre in Stone. As the rent was lower Angie was able to buy a Rascal van to deliver sandwiches in.
At the beginning of 2016 the Council also increased the rent considerably on the Frank Jordan Centre, so in June Angie relocated to Langtrys, and has been busy there ever since.
Angies Catering offers hot and cold buffets for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, funerals and business lunches. They also offer sandwich and snack delivery to your workplace in their brand new custom made van with chiller and oven.
Snacks and drinks are also available during the week from the serving hatch at Langtrys.
