Competition is growing between local businesses to support Katharine House Hospice’s Accumulator Challenge. Starting in September, the challenge asks teams to turn £50 into as much money as possible within 50 days!
– all in support of the local hospice.
“The challenge is now in its second year and following the success of last year, we are really excited to see what innovative fundraising initiatives the teams come up with. It is a great teambuilding opportunity as well as raising vital funds to support the hospice. We will give each team £50 and ask them to use it in order to generate as much money as possible; they can do whatever they like…as long as it’s legal!”
So far teams representing a gym, accountants, supermarket, recycling company and County Hospital have signed up. Other local companies are urged to get in contact as soon as possible if they would like to take part in the challenge when it commences in September.
Handelsbanken, Stafford are very kindly supporting the challenge again this year and will be dishing out the crisp £50 notes to all registered teams and kick starting the challenge on 13th September following a launch event at the hospice. Handelsbanken’s support ensures that maximum funds can be raised for the Hospice so that they can continue to provide free care in the local community.
So whether you hold a cake sale, cycle the length of the country, shave your head or get your manager to sit in a bath of beans; take the Accumulator Challenge and support your local hospice! Interested teams can contact Holly on 01785 270808 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
