Graham joined to help the club attract, develop and grow players at all age groups and maybe, just maybe win promotion with the first XV although this is not the primary driver. Graham’s desire was to apply the skills and techniques he learned in his international role and level 5 coaching and apply these with a men’s team in a social rugby setting but with a club that has some ambition too. The club’s plan is to work with Graham to help develop the coaching setup at all age groups and levels, encourage players to join and progress with the club and create a great future for the first team.

Dan Robson joined Stoke aged just 4 and played through every age group to under-16 where he found and took his opportunity to play at a professional level. Playing through the Stoke development system, Dan says the club played a real role in getting him to his current level and where the doors opened! Dan was talked about as a choice for the number 9 position for the victorious England senior tour of Australia, but was selected for the Saxons tour of South Africa after the first team chose to take two scrum half’s and played two full games and scored a wonder try.

Coaching-3

Now at Wasps after moving from Gloucester Dan made 28 appearances for the Coventry based club last season scoring 8 tries. Described as one of the games ‘brightest young prospects’ Dan describes the club as a great setup and the experience as invaluable to be working with great coaches and players such as Danny Cipriani. It was great to have Dan with us for the evening.
Also joining us were a number of local businesses who sponsor the club at various age groups and levels including:

 David Vickers from main club sponsor Knights BMW
 Rob Bailey from RJS Solicitors
 Rich Brown from Blithfield Lakeside Barns
