Charity fun day promises to be a knock-out for all the family – Saturday 10th September

Families looking for a free fun day out will love the Donna Louise It’s a Knockout day on Saturday 10th September, from 12 noon, at Stoke Rugby Club, Barlaston.

The fun afternoon will see 25 teams battle it out on the inflatable obstacle course, which will include plenty of surprises and lots of water and foam.

As well as the obstacle challenge there will be activities for all the family, including face-painting, tombola, coconut shy, cake and crepe stalls and lots of other games and competitions.

There will also be a craft stall run by two of the young adults who regularly spend time at The Donna Louise and now create their own handmade craft items together. The day will conclude with a BBQ and live band from 4pm.

Chelsey Farmer, Events Co-ordinator at The Donna Louise, said

“The It’s a Knockout Day will be a great day out for all the family. The obstacle challenge itself will be so much fun for those taking part and hilarious for the spectators to watch as the teams battle through the obstacles, water and foam.

“There will also be loads of fun activities throughout the day, concluding with a delicious BBQ and live band from 4pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and cheer on the teams in what promises to be a fun-filled, action-packed day, with all proceeds going to The Donna Louise.”

The Donna Louise It’s a Knockout will take place at Stoke Rugby Club, Hartwell Lane, Barlaston, ST15 8TL, from 12noon – 6pm, on Saturday 10 September.
