Newcastle-under-Lyme College (NULC) has places still available on full-time and part-time courses starting this month.
For school leavers interested in studying a full-time course or adult learners wanting to take the next step in their career, NULC is urging anyone who has not already applied for one of its courses to find out more and apply or enrol.
Karen Dobson, Principal and Chief Executive at NULC said:
“If you’ve left school this year and still haven’t decided on what to study at college, don’t panic! We believe strongly in helping every student to identify their preferred learning style and to choose the best possible pathway to university or job success.
“We’re well placed to give impartial advice as we offer every type of post-16 course, including AS and A Levels, vocational courses and Apprenticeships.”
The College is still recruiting for a number of courses at different levels in subjects including Art and Design, Beauty, Construction, Engineering, Hairdressing, IT, Music, Performing Arts, Public Service, Sport and more.
“We also have a variety of part-time courses on offer starting this September. Our part-time courses range from recreational and adult leisure courses for individuals wanting to learn more about a hobby, to a number of degree-level qualifications to help learners to progress in their career. All of our part-time courses are extremely flexible to help students balance other commitments such as work or family life.”
The College currently operates a number of schemes where students can apply for financial support including adult or HE loans and also sells bus passes at a reduced cost, in a bid to make studying at college more accessible.
“We have a range of support available at NULC including Student Finance Advisors, Career Advisors and Counsellors, who are all on hand to provide expert advice to students considering a course at NULC.”
Anyone interested in enrolling at NULC this September is encouraged to visit their website (www.nulc.ac.uk) to view the wide range of courses available.
