12 local charities are encouraging supporters to register early to save money when registering for their Winter Walk.

The Winter Walk on Sunday 4th December will see local charities uniting on a family friendly trek through the beautiful surroundings of Cannock Chase to help raise vital funds.

Adult walkers can save £2 off the registration prices until October 28th – £8 rather than the standard £10 booking fee. Children’s registrations cost just £2.

The seasonal stroll will see experienced walkers, families and their dogs taking in a fresh and festive 4 mile circuit of picturesque Cannock Chase with added attractions, including a certificate from Santa and a goody bag for children to put them in the festive mood.

Charities taking part include: A Child of Mine, Age UK Stafford and District, Carers Association Southern Staffordshire, Citizens Advice Staffordshire South West, Holly Road Supportive Care Centre, Home-start Stafford and District, Katharine House Hospice, The Rotary Club of Stafford, Signposts, Stafford and District Bereavement and Loss Support Service, Support Staffordshire and The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.

Walkers can register now online at www.wewalktogether.co.uk or by calling 01785 270808.

Supporters can choose their preferred charity – their registration fee will go directly to the charity of their choice.
