Following the success of its first 2015 Winter Wine Festival, which took place at Bishton Hall, local independent wine merchant The Wolseley Wine Loft has moved its 2016 event to a bigger venue – Sandon Hall.

On Saturday 22nd October 2016, the team from ‘the loft’ and wine experts from various suppliers will showcase some 50+ different wines in the hall’s elegant reception rooms. With red, white, rosé and sparkling wines on taste from New and Old World producers there really will be something for everyone; whilst the relaxed, informal atmosphere will make it a fun evening for those with and in-depth knowledge of wines and beginners alike.

Special discounts will be offered on orders placed on the night and for a short period after the event; making this the perfect opportunity to select your favourite wines and stock up for gifts and entertaining over the Christmas period. Wolseley Wine Loft proprietor, Brenda Rhodes, says:

“We’ve got over 500 wines in stock at ‘the loft’, and this is a fantastic opportunity for wine lovers to sample a good cross-section of wines specifically selected with the festive season in mind. With Christmas and New Year on the horizon, visitors will also be able to take advantage of special discounts on the evening – great if they’re looking to buy in bulk ahead of the party season, be it for entertaining or for gifts.”

The Winter Wine Festival will take place at Sandon Hall, on the A51 between Weston and Stone, from 7pm – 9.30pm on Saturday, 22nd October.
