The central defenders Hayley Mason and Meg Baldwin worked well and kept the pacey Atherstone striker at bay for much of the game. Half time 1-0.

In their own half after a succession of Atherstone throw ins, Stone regained possession, with a quick turn and switch of play by Kendrick led to Baskerville on the edge of the box. Baskerville took no hesitation and with a couple of touches to line the ball up, she fired the ball over the keeper to get her first of the season and Stones 4th of the game.
A couple of subs were made left and right back Amelia Shacklestone and Katie Jones slotted in well, along with left winger Maria Birkett. After Stone’s 4th goal, play began to get scrappy, chances came for both sides and Atherstone passed it round the Dominoes midfield and slotting a pass through for an Atherstone player, taking their chance curling the ball around Humphreys in goal.
