Hi Gazette readers
I’m Richie Anderson and I’m one of the presenters of BBC Midlands Children in Need on BBC One.
Between Monday 14th November – Friday 18th November I’m doing a 250 mile tandem bike round around the Midlands. I’ll be doing the whole 250 miles with different celebrities doing each leg. We’re doing 50 miles a day and it will push our bodies to the limit, not to mention the awful weather so we’re after as much support as possible.
On Monday 14th November we ride through Stone Town Centre with Joe Clarke on the back of the bike. We hope to arrive between 5-5.30pm and will ride up the hill where Chicos restaurant is.
We love for you to organise as many local people and business to line the streets as we drive past and show your support. The bike will be led by a security marshal and trailed by a children in Need van with a beacon on. We’ll have a camera crew and Pudsey himself who will stop for selfies! We’ll also have bucket collectors who would love to get as many pennies as possible.
We will have a tracker of our journey on the BBC website so you can see exactly where we are at all times! A We can send you a link to the tracker on the day!
It would be lovely for Joe to see a huge home crowd so feel free to spread the word and help us smash last years £37million raised by Children in Need.
