Stone Christmas Market – 7th December

Hot roast baps, freshly-made cakes and stalls selling Christmas gifts, wreaths, ladies’ and children’s winter fashions will be on offer at Stone’s first Christmas market.

At least 17 stalls, plus a late-night opening by Stone’s independent traders, are set to attract festive shoppers to Stone High Street in early December. Organised by Stone independent traders, the market is supported by Stone Town Council, who are donating the market stalls.

“The idea behind the market is to attract more shoppers into the High Street, which in turn helps to encourage more spending in our shops, restaurants, pubs and other businesses to create a more vibrant town,” traders’ representative Matt Williams from The Bike Shack told the Gazette. “There will be something for everyone.”

The market has chosen Stone Community Hub as its charity who will also be having a stall on the evening to promote their valuable services to the Stone community. Stone Christmas Market will be held on Wednesday, December 7, from 5-9pm.
