Shoppers seeking gifts a little more unique than those you’ll find on the high street are in for a treat later this month, as Stone’s Aston Marina plays host to a two-day Christmas Shopping Event in its new Boat House venue.
Taking place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November, the event is being hosted in conjunction with Consider it Done and will showcase over 25 stalls selling everything from food and gifts to clothing, jewellery, beauty products – and more besides.
Entry to the event is free, and there are even half hour children’s craft sessions available to book in advance, so parents can leave youngsters happily occupied and supervised while they concentrate on browsing the stalls. When they’ve shopped till they’ve (almost) dropped, visitors can enjoy a coffee and cake – or even treat themselves to lunch – in the marina’s Bistro before checking out the feast of delights on offer in the award-winning Farm Shop, Butchery and Deli.
Aston Marina director, Helen Webb, says:
“This is a first for the marina but something we’ve wanted to do for some time. Finding unique Christmas gifts can be a real headache, especially if you don’t want to spend hours browsing online or pounding the streets. Our event will bring stalls together that have been hand-picked for the quality and desirability of their offerings, so if you’re looking for those last few elusive gifts or haven’t yet made a start on your shopping list, this is a great opportunity.”
The Christmas Shopping Days will take place at Aston Marina on Saturday 26th November 10am-5pm Sunday 27th November 11am-4pm.
Shoppers can simply turn up on the day – however, to book your child into the craft room, please contact Consider It Done on 07540 361 456 or email@example.com.
