Stone children’s not-for-profit organisation awarded grant from Staffordshire County Council Councillor.
Stone Councillor, Philip E Jones has awarded Chuckle Productions £2000 towards on-going costs at the company.
Chuckle Productions, based at The Chuckle House on Stone Enterprise Park, provides high quality, innovative workshops that aid the development (physical, cognitive, social and emotional) of children and young people of all abilities and backgrounds. Chuckle also offers services for educational assessment and specialist tuition.
The Chuckle House is also home to Chuckle Stars, a Musical Theatre Company for children with additional needs, and our current project “A Sound Connection” a unique music-making project for children with profound additional needs.
Cllr Philip Ezra Jones said “When I popped into Chuckle the children were weaving a giant spider’s web. Then they went on to drawing and music. It was so inventive, inspiring and therapeutic and they loved it. The staff and volunteers are wonderful. I’m really proud to have been able to help”
Operations Director, Sharon Hodson said: “We are once again so grateful to Philip E Jones for his wonderful donation which will enable us to help us to continue to support the children and families in our community”
