Members of Stafford based Chanteuse Chamber Choir are celebrating, following their recent performance at the Manchester Amateur Choral Competition held at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. They were thrilled to be declared runners-up in this prestigious competition.
Chanteuse, an all ladies chamber choir, was founded in 2008 by Susan Brereton-Banks with members coming from all over Staffordshire and is growing from strength to strength. The ladies all have one thing in common, a passion for singing. As well as conducting the choir, Sue is committed to extending their repertoire and ensuring a powerful performance is delivered at each and every concert.
Chanteuse Chamber Choir perform everything from intricate chamber pieces to show stopping smash hits as the choir aims to deliver a little something for everyone’s musical taste. From Baroque to rock, from classical to contemporary, from show tunes to folk tunes, an audience with Chanteuse Chamber Choir is sure to be a truly memorable night.
