Former Stone Artist has 2 Exhibitions

Long Eared Owl by Christina Hopkinson, Acrylic on paper

Christina Hopkinson used to live in Stone many years ago, before moving to Ashley where she’s been painting in watercolour for some years now, and has a special interest in painting birds.

She has two forthcoming exhibitions, a solo exhibition at the Coach House Gallery, Winterbourne House and Garden, and an Association of Animal artists annual exhibition in Frodsham, Cheshire.

Christina recently joined The Association of Animal Artists, (AAA), in order to connect with a group of like minded artists.

Christina says

“They are a super supportive and very talented group of people comprising both professional and amateur artists, working in a variety of mediums. The great thing about the AAA is that they accept work featuring domestic animals as well as wildlife, so alongside tigers and lions etc. you can see farmyard animals, cats and dogs. I will be entering four of my paintings into this exhibition which I’m very excited about.

My solo exhibition at the Coach House Gallery is something which I’m looking forward to immensely. The gallery is set in the beautiful setting of Winterbourne House and Garden in Edgbaston, Birmingham.”
