Learn to Sail in 2017! – Bank Holiday Monday 1st May 11am-3pm – Free Admission

Rudyard Lake Sailing Club – Open Day – Bank Holiday Monday 1st May 11am-3pm – Free Admission

It will be guaranteed to offer something for everyone, whether you are a novice or are looking to get back into the sport after a break away. Enjoy your first taste of sailing under the watchful eye of an experienced club member, get to grips with one of the club’s own boats or simply sample the social side of what your local sailing club has to offer.

We are a very friendly family sailing club and the doors are open to welcome everyone regardless of race, age, gender, disability or experience. Just bring a change of clothes, soft-soled shoes and waterproofs and the club will supply everything else you need. Refreshments and car parking will be available.

We are a recognised RYA Training Centre, meaning we have to conform to the highest standards of quality and safety. There will be plenty of information to hand for anyone looking to learn to sail this year through either our active Junior section or through Adult Training Courses for all experience levels.

We were finalists at the national RYA Club of the Year awards in both 2016 and 2017. The judges commended RLSC for its wide range of training courses, its youth training and development scheme, fabulous facilities, social events and excellent racing. We have a large function room regularly used for weddings and a licensed bar.
