Moddershall Oaks, the picturesque award winning Country Spa Retreat, will be hosting a Black Tie Charity Auction Night on Saturday 6th May 2017 in honour of the Douglas Macmillan Hospice whose mission is deliver excellent care to people with palliative or end of life diagnosis across North Staffordshire.
The glamorous and fun Black Tie Charity Event will include a 3 course evening meal with live entertainment and a charity auction where all funds will be donated to the hospice.
Douglas Macmillan Hospice, based in Staffordshire provides care and support free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The cost of running a free of charge healthcare service costs 11.5 million every year, therefore, the hospice welcomes 75% of its funding from the local community.
Penny Holland, Director at Moddershall Oaks says:
“As a company we understand the pressing demand for the amazing work that is completed day in day out at Douglas Macmillan. We want to try and give something back so we are donating all charity auction funds to the hospice that are made on the evening”.
Moddershall Oaks are looking to encourage people to donate and attend the event where all funds will be donated to charity.
During the evening, guests will be greeted with a glass of fizz on arrival, enjoy a 3 course meal, followed by an address from Dougie Mac to introduce the charity auction which begins at 9:30pm. The evening will continue into the night when live entertainment starts at 10:15pm.
