With work underway on its new restaurant, Stone eatery Aston Marina has closed the doors to its Bistro until its new venture is ready to launch. However, foodies keen to enjoy the marina’s popular take on dishes created using only the finest local ingredients needn’t miss out, with its Boat House venue operating as a pop-up restaurant every Sunday until mid-May.
Open between 10am – 9pm from Sunday 12th March – Sunday 7th May, The Boat House will serve breakfast, brunch, traditional Sunday lunches, afternoon tea and dinner; with coffee & cakes available throughout the day. The only exception to the rule will be Sunday, 26th March when a special Mother’s Day set menu will be available by advance booking only.
Events Manager at the marina, Aishah Minister-Doherty, says:
“We’re hugely excited that work is underway on the new restaurant, and are looking forward to its launch which is scheduled for mid-May. However, we have an enthusiastic and creative kitchen team who just love to cook and, while they’ll be busy developing dishes for the new seasonal menu that will be at the heart of our new dining experience, Sunday dining in the Boat House will keep them doing what they enjoy most.
“We anticipate the Sunday lunches will be especially busy as our roast dinners are very popular and have a loyal following – so while breakfast, coffee and cakes may be available to those who drop in on the day, we do advise making advance reservations to avoid disappointment.”
