A number of new full and part time hospitality and culinary jobs are available at Stone’s renowned waterside eatery, Aston Marina, as it prepares for the launch of its new bar and dining venue.
Earlier this year, the family-run business took the decision to close its Farm Shop, butchery and deli to expand its restaurant and events capacity following a busy first 12 months in its ‘Boat House’ wedding and event venue. The new restaurant will quadruple the number of diners the marina can accommodate for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner service as well as offer a dedicated bar area where visitors can enjoy cake and coffee throughout the day alongside a well as an extensive list of draft and bottled beers, wine, spirits and cocktails.
With work well underway on the expansion and the launch set for mid May 2017, the marina is actively seeking new members to join its team. Opportunities include full and part time roles front of house, for bar staff and kitchen assistants. While age and experience are not important, attitude and outlook are essential as director, Helen Webb explains:
“It’s a very exciting time at the marina and we are keen to retain all of the things that our visitors love about dining with us as we expand. We are looking for positive, smiley people who genuinely care about giving customers a fantastic experience whilst maintaining great attention to detail. Our team feels like one big family and we are looking for people who want to become a part of this – our motto is ‘nothing is too much trouble’. Whether you are 16 and looking for your first part time job or have years of experience that you can bring to our team, we would like to hear from you as there are various roles available including more senior positions.”
