Enjoy an evening of ‘Gin-spiration’ at Wolseley Wine Loft…

Brenda Rhodes with a selection of the gins available at the Wolseley Wine Loft

Gin lovers rejoice – the Gintleman is coming to town! For one night only, on Friday, 5th May, local independent wine shop Wolseley Wine Loft will play host to a tasting with Gin raconteur, founder of the first modern gin bar The Jekyll & Hide in 2009 and Brand Ambassador for Martin Millers Gin – Carl Hawkins.

Between 7pm and 9pm, Carl will introduce six different gins, using boutique tonics and garnishes that best complement them whilst sharing insights into the history of gin and plenty of anecdotes along the way. Owner at Wosleley Wine Loft, Brenda Rhodes, says:

“Gin has exploded in popularity and we’re constantly expanding our range of boutique and artisan distilled gins. The aim is to offer varieties you won’t find on the supermarket shelves alongside some old favourites. We’ve had a lot of interest in a gin tasting event so have invited the Gintleman to share his expert knowledge of this fascinating spirit.”

The Gintleman will be at The Wine Loft, which lies off the Wolseley Bridge roundabout between Stone and Rugeley, on Friday 5thMay 2017 from 7pm – 9pm. Tickets cost £32.50pp and are available via Eventbrite – alternatively email info@wolseleywineloft.co.uk
