Messy Church

We know we had 45 children at the Messy Church Session on Saturday 1st April because we had 50 cream eggs to give away and we had five left at the end of the day.

Yes,this was one of the most popular sessions we have held in our four and half years of putting on craft, celebration and food for the children of Stone.

As well as the usual colouring , the children were able to make their own Easter Purse, Resurrection Stone and take part in the Easter Egg hunt in St Michaels Church, hence the eggs given as a reward for following the trail round the church.

A popular activity was making a “tomb” out of a ring doughnut and sealing it with an “Oreo” biscuit (other biscuits are available!) see photo.

The next session is 27th May at St Michaels Community Hall
