OULTON WATERCOLOUR SOCIETY EXHIBITION
SATURDAY 3rd JUNE 10am to 4.30pm
OULTON VILLAGE HALL Nr STONE ST15 8UJ
We wish to thank all the people of Stone and surrounding areas for the huge support that you have shown us throughout the year.
We are pleased to announce that the society is holding their annual art exhibition, and once again we have been included in the run up to the Stone Festival week for this we would like to thank the festival committee for this opportunity.
Entrance is free, also refreshments will be available and if you are feeling lucky have a go on the raffle (Hamper), both modestly priced.
As usual club members will be giving demonstrations and on hand to answer any questions relating to the paintings / painting classes.
Including in the exhibition is a Craft Corner for the younger ones, watched over by our Julie, she`s got the patience of a saint, this has been a big success in the past.
The exhibition gives us the opportunity to promote the club which has been in existence since 1967 we are the oldest painting group in Stone,
Following our success of the recruitment drive last year we are up to full membership, however so not to disappoint anyone who wishes to become a member in the future, we will be organizing a register so that people can be contacted if any vacancy arises.
The object of the exhibition is to showcase our work and to offer the paintings for sale which in turn helps us to raise funds to cover the costs of hiring the village hall, for the weekly classes and the exhibitions, but most of all to encourage future artists for the clubs future.
