Blythe Bridge High School & Sixth Form are the Sentinel Schools’ Shield Champions, beating Thomas Alleyne’s 2-1 at Vale Park on Monday 8th May.
It was a very close game, with Jack Dundas scoring in the 35th minute and Joel Tusevo scoring in the 64th. It is the first time the school has won this competition, Mr Leech, their coach said,
‘They are a great set of lads, supported by brilliant parents and staff. They work incredible hard at school and I hope they savour every moment. It was a great game, a bit closer than we would have liked but our defence showed so much grit and determination, it saw us through’.
Congratulations to Blythe Bridge High School, and well done to Alleyne’s for making it to the final.
