Barlaston Community group are organising ‘Barlaston Open Gardens’ for the second year running.
Last year the sun shone gloriously on Barlaston and many people enjoyed the first Barlaston Open Gardens event organised by Barlaston Community Group. It was such a success that the group vowed to do it again …. and they are!
The open gardens planning committee have assured us that they have placed an order for the same glorious weather this year, which would be very nice, and they have a wonderful range of gardens opening to the public.
The Barlaston Open Gardens will take place on the weekend of the 15th and 16th July with different gardens opening from 11am to 3pm on the two different days.
Entry will be by ticket which will be in the form of a programme which provides full details of the gardens opening as well as identifying which gardens will be selling plants, will be serving refreshments, can give access to amenities, will allow dogs and are suitable for disabled access.
Tickets, which can be purchased from Kitson’s Chemist in Orchard Place Barlaston, cost a bargain £2 per person and the event is free to U16s.
Whether you are an avid gardener, want to chat about gardens to people who like to garden too, want to enjoy a mug of tea and a piece of cake in nice surroundings or want a walk with a bit of added interest then Barlaston Open Gardens is the event for you.
More information about the event can be found on Barlaston Communtiy Group’s website and Facebook pages:
