Hello Gazette Readers,
May is here and wee are edging towards the end of spring before we leap into summer.
Your garden is thriving and it’s time to think about the general appearance of your garden. The hedges need trimming, the flower beds need some attention and maybe it’s time to start thinking about cleaning your path way? You can clean the moss out of the edging and sweep away any rubbish, but a real clean for your patio or paving is it being power washed.
Flower bed care:
* Let any foliage die without removing it and remove spent blossoms from spring flowering bulbs.
* It is time to go shopping and pick out your favorite bedding plants; ensuring to pick ones not yet bloomed for stronger plants.
* Trim away any spent blooms and thin too-thick branches to revive older plants.
With the temperature beginning to heat up, it is the most critical period for plants to be watered. Plants in containers need attention all year, but in summer plants can run short of water and nutrients. It is important to give your plant that extra bit of attention.
We always use hand shears to trim our customers box hedging. They need to be kept exceptionally sharp to insure these achieve the best possible standard. It is important to tidy up all the leaves as the hedging can be killed off quite quickly by Box Blight.
If your surface areas look like they have had better days, due to grime and wear and tear then pressure washing may be just what you are looking for!
