Places are selling out fast for Katharine House Hospice brand new 2017 event, the Neon Night Fun Run.
Taking place on Saturday 10th June 2017 starting at Stafford Common, participants will be able to run, dance, skip or walk 4 miles around Stafford, lighting up the night skies as they go in the county town’s very first event of this kind.
The evening will kick off at 7:45pm with music and dancing as well as a Clubbercise warm up party with Nikki Witty (Clubbercise Instructor) who will really get things going before the fun run begins. There will also be the opportunity to buy neon goodies and a face-painter will be on hand to complete the runners’ neon look. Adding to the fun, there will be a prize for the best-dressed fun runner and every finisher will receive an official neon technical t-shirt, a neon finishers medal and a neon sweat wrist band.
Katharine House Hospice Events Fundraiser, Lisa Carson said
“We are really thrilled to be introducing this brand new and exciting event to Stafford. We have limited the places to 600 and there has been an incredible response with over half of the places sold already, so we would urge people to sign up for this unmissable event soon to avoid disappointment.”
“We’re asking local people to join together to help raise £25,000 which will provide support during the night for our patients receiving their care at home throughout the month of June. Every penny of sponsorship raised by fun runners will be helping our patients feel safe and comfortable at night while their loved ones are able to rest.”
Places can be booked at https://www.khhospice.org.uk/neonnightrun2017 or by calling 01785 270808 during office hours.
