Tuesday 16 May saw over 30 professional businessmen and women join regular group members in an open day “men allowed” celebration. The combined efforts of a local swimmathon, a charity bike ride and zip line experience fundraiser was announced on the day with almost £2000 raised for Cancer Research – many members contributing to the cause with personal donations. A homemade cake sale, with goods baked by the members, to raise further money for Cancer Research took place after the meeting.

Visitor Oliver Hadley from Current Electrical and Property Service Limited commented:

“This is a great meeting for ladies, very welcoming – I’m going to encourage my wife to attend, she’s very shy and I think this would really help her to develop.”

Tom Bevan from Aston Marina said:

“I really enjoyed the meeting. I was slightly nervous as I’ve never attended a BforB networking session, but the atmosphere was relaxing and I was made to feel welcome. I was actually a little overwhelmed by the number of referrals I received.”
