The Donna Louise calls on the local community to support its Christmas Jumper Day

It’s too early to talk about Christmas . . . SoNotTrue

On Friday 8th December The Donna Louise is holding its second Christmas Jumper Day and is calling on local businesses, schools, clubs and community groups to get involved.

Justine Trumper, Head of Programmes at The Donna Louise, explained,

“Last year we held our first ever Christmas Jumper Day and had a fantastic number of people taking part. With everyone doing their bit, we raised a phenomenal £23,584 to make every moment count for local families.

“It would mean so much to us if local businesses, schools, brownie and scouts packs, and other community groups would take part in this year’s event. We’ve chosen Friday 8th December as the official date, but of course you can do it on any day you choose.”

The premise is very simple, pull on a Christmas jumper, encourage staff, colleagues and pupils to do the same, and send your donations to The Donna Louise when you’re done. Think your support won’t make a difference? That’s #SoNotTrue!

Please drop us a note at Christmas@thedonnalouise.org and let us know if you’re taking part – we’ll be here to support you every step of the way.

What’s more we have a great Festive Fundraising pack which is available now at www.thedonnalouise.org/christmas and is full of helpful hints and tips to make your Christmas jumper day a cracking success.
