Winter Walk promotes clutter free mind and home

Always on the look-out for a win-win, Katharine House Hospice is looking forward to welcoming supporters to clear their heads while enjoying the Charity Winter Walk and to de-clutter at home before the Christmas influx too.

The walk on Sunday 3rd December will see local people enjoying a family friendly trek through the beautiful surroundings of Cannock Chase to help raise vital funds. The hospice will also have a Retail team on hand to receive donations of any unwanted items of clothing, shoes, toys and so on.

This year M6toll is kindly sponsoring the event which means that more money raised will go towards providing free care at Katharine House Hospice. Jo Brett, Marketing & PR Assistant at Midland Expressway Ltd, said:

“M6toll are proud to sponsor the Winter Walk enabling Katharine House Hospice to continue to provide invaluable free hospice care services to numerous local people. We’re really looking forward to joining hundreds of other festive trekkers at Cannock Chase and getting into the ‘Christmas Spirit’ whilst raising funds for this wonderful charity.”

Adults can pre-book for £15 before 2 December or pay £20 on the day. Kids walk free.

The seasonal stroll will see experienced walkers, families and their dogs taking in a fresh and festive 4 mile circuit of picturesque Cannock Chase.

Santa will be there to take his orders for Christmas morning and he will have a treat for younger walkers. As it is people’s sponsorship that really makes a difference, a prize will be awarded to the child (under 16) who brings the most sponsor money to the event before the walk commences!

Walkers can register now online at or by calling 01785 270808.
