Fulford Primary School children spread the Christmas spirit

Pupils at Fulford Primary School have been busy wrapping and filling shoe boxes with small gifts of toys, stationery and toiletries for the Operation Christmas Child Appeal, run by the Samaritans Purse.

Staff from WHSmith in Stone, Kelly Richards and Beverley Smith, received the boxes, thanking the children for their hard work.

Staff said they would surely make a difference to a child overseas on Christmas morning.

The children explained that they had wanted children who were not so lucky as them to have at least one thing to open on Christmas day.
