Stafford’s Katharine House Hospice has just the January fix you may need, a brand new Danceathon event.
If you’ve overindulged this Christmas and are now feeling sluggish, fear not. You can book now and join the hospice for a 6 hour dancing and fitness challenge on Sunday 4th February.
With only 200 tickets available, the hospice would love to have a full house at Stafford’s Beacon Sport and Fitness centre to bust out the best of moves from 2pm until 8pm. People will be able to trial all manner of different boogies from afternoon to evening as they shake off the mince pies and shimmy off the sherry at the hospice’s first ever mass Dance-a-thon!
Adlington is kindly sponsoring the Danceathon which means that more money raised will go towards providing free care at Katharine House Hospice.
Claire Reede, Sales and Marketing Manager, Adlington said:
“We are delighted to support the Katharine House Hospice Danceathon. The quality of care and support this service delivers is second to none; the team have such big hearts and are an absolute asset to the local community which we are keen to be actively involved with at our new development, Brooklands House.”
Events Fundraiser, Lisa Carson, said:
“If you’re over 14 years and in need of some post-Christmas excitement, we hope this new event will put a jolly jaunt in your step throughout this January.
“We’ve got some amazing dance instructors who’ll have the hours flying by while you Salsa, Boxercise, Pilates, Charleston, Zumba and Clubbercise your way to a New Year super glow to be proud of.
“Fancy dress is actively encouraged and we can’t wait to dance like crazy to bring in valuable funds and make a real difference to the lives of local people who need our care. We’ll even be giving the person who brings in the most sponsorship by 16th March 2018, a free family ticket to our Neon Night Fun Run in June.”
