2018 sees the Annual Stone Festival, held in the first week of June, becoming an ever growing and successful part of the Staffordshire social calendar, placing Stone firmly on the “things to do map” within our region.
Unlike many events, however, the Festival is not just one event on one day but nearly 30 events spread over a 10 day period, each one as diverse as the next. This places a huge strain on the core volunteer Festival Committee and helpers in the successful delivery and execution for the public of Stone and surrounding areas.
So might you be able to lend a hand for just a few hours on one of the events over the festival period? Perhaps it’s an event you might not normally go to, but your assistance would be invaluable in helping things run smoothly.
If you feel like giving a hand in the delivery of one or a number of the events, then the Festival Committee would be delighted to hear from you.
Please contact them via the enquiries page on the website www.stonefestival.co.uk.
Join a great team over the festival period and help deliver to our community a great series of events while helping to raise funds for the various local groups who depend on everyone’s generosity.
