Stone based business Alison Bradford Coaching has been nominated for a national award.
The Enterprise Nation Award, sponsored by Experian, is aimed at small business advisors in Britain and recognises professionals up and down the country working with business owners behind the scenes to ensure they get the best start and growth potential. Alison Bradford Coaching has been shortlisted for the Leadership and Management category.
Local entrepreneur Alison has said of the nomination
“It’s great to be recognised as a Top 50 Advisor for the work I’ve done with small businesses over the past 6 years in Staffordshire, helping business owners to realise their goals.”
After spending 12 years working in telecoms, training originally as an accountant and then moving to Head of Business Improvement in Vodafone for their sales areas, as well as spending a couple of years delivering projects sponsored at board level for Swinton Insurance, Alison had her second child and decided she didn’t want to spend 3 hours a day commuting. So, Alison left the corporate world and set up her own business working from home. She had gained a wealth of experience in her previous roles and knew she could help other business owners get everything they can from their business.
“It was scary leaving a high-powered job and setting up a business from home, but it really is the best thing I ever did. Being able to help small business owners achieve their goals is the most rewarding thing about it.”
