A Touch of Luxury Coming to Staffordshire Soon…

A £1.3 million luxury beauty salon and bistro is a major step closer to opening after the company directors became the official owners of the building. Mum and daughter team Debbie and Jess Tams from Stone, picked up the keys to Brunswick House in Basford, on Tuesday, where their business venture, ‘Beauty and the Bistro,’ is scheduled to open later in the year.

The Beauty Quarters will be offering a unique combination of a high-end luxury beauty complex and skin clinic, which will be complemented by fine wining and dining in the Bistro Quarters.

The business on Etruria Road has been two years in the planning so far and is expected to create 54 new jobs. The salon will offer a wide range of services to both men and women including:

• Skin rejuvenation and anti-ageing treatments

• Clinical treatment of medical and hereditary skin conditions using state of the art lasers

• Microdermabrasion

• Laser hair removal, tanning, waxing, facials

• Eyebrow and eyelash treatments including microblading

• Cellulite reduction

• Massages and body treatments

• Relaxation suite and mud chamber

• Tattoo removal (using the Picosure Laser – officially the fastest and most comfortable system in the world)

• An open plan contemporary nail bar

The bistro will combine British and Italian menus with fine wine and a cocktail bar set in modern and elegant surroundings. Debbie, who has run a number of successful businesses previously and has a Master’s Degree in Economics is delighted that they can now progress with the project.

She said:

“It has taken longer to get to this point than we would have liked because there’s been a lot of red tape to get through but now that contracts have been signed and the building is officially ours we can push on with our plans which we are so excited about. We want to create something completely new to the area and we aim to bring a little piece of London’s five-star service to Staffordshire.”

The 51-year-old added: “In essence, we don’t want our clients to simply receive their treatments, we want them to experience feeling special and give them the opportunity to escape for an hour or two from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in our luxurious surroundings.”

Jess, a 27-year-old business graduate, added:

“We’re planning some really exciting packages, which will give our clients the opportunity to enjoy a discounted combination of a treatment or two along with fine food in the bistro. Our favourites include the ‘Afternoon Tranquili-Tea’, ‘Morning Escape’ and the ‘Post Work Wine-Down.’ Of course, the bistro will also be open to people who just want to dine with us or enjoy a cocktail with friends.”

Work will soon start on the interior of the building with the Interior Design Practice and Mode Architects already instructed.
