Oak Tree Farm Rural Project is holding it’s annual Plant Day on Saturday 12th May. This perennial event is an opportunity for people to get their spring plants and baskets.
The project provides opportunities for people with learning disabilities to work with plants and animals, there is also a pottery and an ever popular tea room on site.
The day kicks off at 10.00am and finishes at 4.00pm.
For those bidders who failed to get a painting by Rita Banks at the recent auction, there will be approximately 6 extra paintings for sale (again all proceeds going to Oak Tree Farm), at the plant day at Oak Tree Farm on Saturday May 12th from 10am. They will be displayed in the Oak Leaf Tea Room. This really is your last chance, as she hasn’t any more paintings. The end of an era, and possibly the start of another.
