The Town Council are please to be able to confirm that this work has now produced successful results and it is expected that a new Post Office will open in Stone in September 2018.
It will be located in the recently vacated pharmacy at 5-7 High Street.
Councillor Rob Kenney, Chairman of the Council’s General Purposes Committee, said:
“I’m pleased that the Council’s work with the Post Office has finally reached a successful outcome and we can look forward to the opening of a new Post Office in the High Street. The Town Council will, of course, continue to fund the bus taking residents to nearby Post Offices until the new outlet has opened.”
