Consumer awareness campaign, Smart Home Week is returning for a second year from 21st – 27th May, backed by a list of high profile sponsors from across the world of smart technology.
New research shows that 75% of Brits have heard of a smart home, and nearly a third own at least one smart product, yet 47% of people admit to finding smart technology overwhelming*.
With nearly half of us feeling confused by smart technology, it’s important for brands to provide support and advice to help us get to grips with the latest smart technology. With this in mind, Philips Hue, Samsung SmartThings and Yale all return for a second Smart Home Week, alongside other leading smart home players including, Amazon, ebay, Google, Ring and tado° as well as the British Standards Institution, acting as an independent regulatory body.
Smart Home Week is designed to provide advice and information on the range of smart products available.
