Zumba is now for all ages, from Grandchildren to Grandparents!

Thanks to the instructors at Groove Academy in Stafford & Stone, they now bring Zumba, in its different forms, to all ages in Staffordshire.

Zumba hit the UK exercise scene over 7 years ago and introduced many people to regular activity. This phenomenon is still alive and kicking today.

With Zumba being such a success, but not always suitable for everyone’s fitness levels, Zumba created Zumba GOLD. This class was designed to take the bounce and the twisting out of the classes, and allow those less active to enjoy the same fun.

Groove Academy in Stafford have been teaching both classes for a number of years and the business owner Kate Beauchamp launched her business on the back of its success.

‘I am a great advocate of Zumba as the structure behind the organisation is so inspiring and supportive to its instructors. This allows us to bring incredible routines to our customers, resulting in lots of smiling faces in class’

The newest addition to the Zumba family is Zumbini. This is targeted at children from 0-4yrs and their care-giver. With many original songs and loveable characters created by Zumba Fitness, the class has lots of fun through music and play whilst learning key skills. This programme is supported by a bundle of goodies that can be taken home to continue the Zumbini experience.

Groove Academy is the first dance school to bring this new class to Staffordshire. Classes will be held in Stafford, Cannock and Stone with plans to develop this further in the new academic year

‘We are so excited to be launching this class in Stone. Children’s development is so significant in these early years and we want to help the families really develop this using the Zumbini philosophy’ says Kate Beauchamp.
