Katharine House Hospice is delighted to have already sold over 100 of the 500 places available for their brand new epic event on 23 March 2019.
Their launch special (lowest price) offer for people to take part for just £25pp is only available until 25th July however, so they are urging people to register asap to power through Stafford’s first ever charity obstacle event.
If you enjoy a challenge and aren’t afraid to get down and dirty in the mud, Extreme Warrior is the exhilarating event for you, filled with: climbing, crawling, running, swinging and sliding as you tackle water obstacles and giant inflatables.
It will be a challenge – you will get filthy and you will get wet as you belly slide, mud crawl and cargo climb your way to victory. Choose between a mighty 5k course or an even mightier 10k with up to 17 obstacles for you to complete and conquer.
Events Fundraiser at Katharine House, Lisa Carson said:
“We are so excited to be bringing this fantastic new event to Stafford Common. It’s going to be amazing and we are sure that everyone who takes part will absolutely love it! We’ve already got 113 people signed up and places are strictly limited to 500 so we would encourage budding warriors to sign up soon to ensure they don’t miss out!”
Extreme Warrior is sponsored by Western Power Distribution. WPD Stoke Distribution Manager, Andy Pickering said: “We’re delighted to be able to support Katharine House’s new venture and hope it will bring the community together and raise lots of money for a very worthy cause.”
You can participate alone, with your friends or do it with a team of colleagues. However you do it – you’ll be amongst hundreds of others raising money for Katharine House Hospice to help fund vital care services for local people with life-limiting illnesses.
Places can be booked at an exclusive discounted ‘launch special’ rate for a limited time only. For more information or to book, please visit the hospice website https://www.khhospice.org.uk/event/extreme-warrior or telephone the fundraising team on 01785 270808, during office hours.
