Beyond the Barricade to bring Sandon Hall’s gardens alive with the sound of music  – Saturday 4th August

Saturday 4th August is set to be a red-letter day for fans of the musicals – as the UK’s favourite Musical Theatre concert tour, Beyond the Barricade, returns to Sandon Hall near Stone.

The fabulous 2-hour show, set against the stunning backdrop of the neo-Jacobean mansion and its 50 acre gardens, will see a cast made up of past principal performers from Les Miserables recreate original West End and Broadway musical hit songs with amazing authenticity.

This year, before the West End stars take centre stage, you are invited to enjoy a leisurely afternoon exploring the hall’s garden in all its summertime glory, take a look around the house (3pm – 5pm) and enjoy live music from special guest acts. Picnics are welcome – there will also be a hog roast, VIP bar service and a bouncy castle for the kids. Why not book a Gazebo pitch and celebrate in style with friends and family?

Beyond the Barricade’s Andy Reiss says:

“We have played Sandon Hall for several years and just love the setting – as a Staffordshire lad who still lives locally I always enjoy playing on ‘home turf’. This year we’re really looking forward to the new format event and the fact that guests will be at leisure to enjoy the fabulous setting before we take the stage.”
