Summerfield Court is rated Gold by Investors in People
Staff at an Extra Care court in Stone are celebrating after being awarded the Investors in People Gold standard. Summerfield Court on Altona Close, owned by Housing & Care 21 received the news after helping to demonstrate the organisation’s high performance through good people management.
The Investors in People award comes after news of a company-wide revision to pay structure and the introduction of guaranteed hour contracts for carers. Summerfield Court now offers a wage that sits 10% above the National Living Wage and guaranteed hour contracts for 100% of employees’ normal hours.
Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. The Standard is supported by the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry.
